Why labs pay for records

The public internet has already been used to train today's AI. The next step needs records of how real companies do real work.

Value in what you already have

Years of email and files sit idle. Estimates for a licensed copy run from $100K to $5M+.

You stay in control

You license a copy and keep your originals. You choose what is in scope, in writing.

No cost, little effort

$0 upfront because the buyer pays. A few hours of your team's time, and about 60 to 90 days to payment.

What we buy

Six kinds of records from the systems you already run.

Email and calendar

Years of quotes, threads and schedules.

Documents and files

Proposals, contracts, reports and project folders.

Chat and project boards

Team chat, tasks and project tracking.

Calls and transcripts

Recorded calls and meeting transcripts.

CRM and support

What the buyer actually sees

A fictional example. Every name, company, place and number is replaced or removed first.

Your original

From: Dana Whitfield
To: Marcus Ortiz

The Hollis Tooling order is 4 days late and they're threatening to cancel. Can we approve rush fulfillment and absorb the $1,840 freight difference? Their contact is Priya Nair, 312-555-0147, in Dayton. Card on file ends 4417.

Buyer's copy

From: Person 01
To: Person 02

The Company 01 order is 4 days late and they're threatening to cancel. Can we approve rush fulfillment and absorb the $1,840 freight difference? Their contact is Person 03, phone_01, in City 01. Card on file ends ████.

Replaced with a consistent placeholder Removed Kept as useful signal

Person 01 stays Person 01 across every record. Bank, card and SSN numbers, health details, passwords and personal contact info are removed entirely. Originals stay untouched; only a copy is processed.Data is licensed for AI research and training. It is never published or sold to the public.

Questions owners ask

Do we give up ownership?

No. You license a copy, and your originals stay in your systems, untouched.

Can we choose what's included?

Yes. Scope is set in writing, and any inbox, folder, tool or time period can be left out.

Will clients or employees be identifiable?

No. People, companies, addresses and account numbers are replaced with placeholders or removed before anything is sold.

Who buys it, and will it be public?

AI labs, under a license. It is never published or sold to the public.

How is the final offer set?

The estimate uses headcount, years of records and location. The final offer follows a review of your systems and data volume, and comes in writing.

When do we get paid?

Once the lab accepts the data, typically net 30. Plan on about 60 to 90 days end to end.

What does it cost?

Nothing upfront, because the buyer pays. Your cost is a few hours of admin time.

How do you make money?

The buyer pays us a finder's fee when a deal closes. It does not come out of your offer, and we disclose it in writing before you sign.

Are we legally allowed to sell?

It depends on your industry and contracts. We don't give legal advice, so firms with confidentiality duties should check with their own counsel. The buyer's legal team also reviews scope before any export.

Is our company too small, or too large?

No. Companies of every size apply, from small teams to large enterprises. Buyers set their own minimums, and the estimate shows how headcount and years change the value.
